On Monday, June 30, Las Cenizas Mining Group took part in the “Women and Mining” roundtable, which was organized by the Regional Ministerial Secretariat of Mining in conjunction with the Regional Ministerial Secretariat of Women and Gender Equality.
The event convened representatives from various companies in the sector, including Cerro Negro, La Patagua, and Las Cenizas, with the objective of addressing the challenges and opportunities faced by women in the mining industry.
During the event, participants reflected on the need to move toward greater gender equality and support the government’s efforts to strengthen female participation through public policies aimed at labor inclusion.
Cabildo Community Manager Dannae Cataldo represented the company; Greenfield Cabildo Geology Manager Nataly Bustamante; and Cabildo Metallurgical Laboratory Manager Camila Aguilera.
